Sabine Mantsch was elected as the new President of the Ugandan-Austrian Friendship Association on 6 September 2024. Sabine worked for a children’s rights organisation in Kampala in 2011 and 2012 and headed the East Africa office of HORIZONT3000 from 2018 to 2020. She is still very attached to Africa and Uganda in particular. Against this background, she is very pleased to have taken on the task of the presidency and will do everything in her power to honourably follow her predecessor Karl Semlitsch.
